Terry Richardson photographing someone named Lindsey on a skateboard is exactly the image you’d expect from him and exactly why it works: flat light, total directness, the board as both prop and personality marker. His skate-adjacent editorial work always had this quality of catching someone mid-persona—not quite candid, not quite posed, somewhere in the productive friction between the two.
