Westeros Goes Yellow

Adrien Noterdaem is a creative director in Brussels who has turned his love of television into a hobby worth actually having: he redraws characters from his favorite shows in the visual language of The Simpsons. The overbite. The four fingers. Those dead, sideways eyes. He’s done Breaking Bad, Mad Men, Sherlock—and now he’s given the whole bloody cast of Game of Thrones the Springfield treatment.

The results are genuinely precise. You can identify everyone immediately, which is the real test—the Simpsons house style is rigid enough that squeezing a recognizable Tyrion or Daenerys into it requires actual craft. There’s something quietly absurd about watching characters defined by blood, betrayal, and political violence rendered in a palette designed for suburban American sitcom. The yellow skin suits Westeros more than it should.
