Bonnie Strange, After Hours

British photographer Kate Bellm got Bonnie Strange—Berlin model, DJ, and the woman behind The Shit Shop—into a museum after dark and shot a series of portraits that feel exactly like Bellm’s work tends to: dreamlike without being soft, intimate without being confessional. Strange has always looked like she belongs somewhere she technically shouldn’t be, and a museum at night turns out to be exactly the right setting for that quality. The images are open and a little feral—a portrait of someone who has made an art out of not quite fitting in anywhere and somehow being welcome everywhere.
