The Only Crossbreed I’d Actually Want

Science hasn’t managed it yet—the bird-dog hybrid remains stubbornly theoretical—but whoever had the idea of splicing the two together in Photoshop deserves some kind of award. The results are called Vunde, apparently, and they look exactly as chaotic and weirdly wonderful as you’d expect: dogs with feathered wings and beaks, birds with floppy ears and wagging tails, creatures that shouldn’t exist but feel like they absolutely should. Mine would be named Chansi, and I’ve already thought too hard about what he’d eat.
