Which is why finding out that Black Milk, the Australian clothing brand whose taste aligns almost exactly with mine, released an Adventure Time collection felt less like discovering fashion and more like receiving a message directed specifically at me. Gunter, BMO, Lumpy Space Princess—all of them stretched across fabric, worn against actual human skin, available to purchase and put on your body and walk around in the world wearing.

I want all of it. That’s the entire thought. There’s nothing more sophisticated to add. I want every piece, I want to wear them, and I want to wear nothing else. That’s exactly where I am with this.
