The Trailer Is Enough, Trust Me

Romantic comedies are my personal floor of cinema—not just bad but aggressively, intentionally bad in a way that suggests whoever made them has contempt for the audience. The Other Woman is exactly that: Cameron Diaz and Leslie Mann can’t stand each other until they realize the same guy is cheating on both of them, then they become best friends, Nicki Minaj shows up for reasons the film presumably explains, and the whole thing clocks two hours.

The only reason I know this film exists is Kate Upton, who spends what appears to be a meaningful portion of the runtime bouncing around a beach in a bikini. That is genuinely the entire positive case for it. Since the trailer delivers exactly that footage for free, I see no reason to sit through the rest.
