Someone figured out that naming your Xbox gamertag "Xbox Sign Out" turns every kill-chat into a self-destruct button. Get shot, get angry, yell the name of the player who killed you—and your console logs you out. It’s not a glitch, not a mod. Just a name, patient as a trap, waiting for someone else’s rage to spring it.

The clip made the rounds in early 2014 and it holds up. The guy isn’t even dominating the lobby—that’s not the point. The point is that he understood something about Call of Duty: Ghosts multiplayer that the designers didn’t plan for: that the other players would do his work for him. He built a machine and let human nature run it.
