Fifteen Minutes of Winter

HBO put out a fifteen-minute preview for Game of Thrones Season 4, and after months of ten-second clips that confirmed only the existence of outdoor scenes and, occasionally, indoor ones, it lands differently. Not because it reveals anything essential—it doesn’t—but because it reminded me why I was waiting in the first place. Season 3 ended with enough unresolved weight to make the gap feel longer than it is, and the "Foreshadowing" cut is less a trailer than a mood piece: fragments of violence, grief, and shifting alliances over a score that understands exactly how to play the room.

April feels impossibly far away.
