Sold Out Before You Found Them

Three black stripes over a chaotic multicolor pattern—the kind of shoe that looks like every dye in the factory got loose at once and somehow the result worked. The adidas Originals ZX Flux "Multi" dropped and disappeared in almost the same motion. By the time I found it, it was already marked sold out.

This is the complete modern sneaker drop experience: you see the thing, you want the thing, the thing is gone. The window between release and absence has collapsed to the point where "available" and "was available" are barely different statements. Someone with better information or faster reflexes got there first, and you’re left staring at a product page with nothing to add to cart.
