Anthea Page in Full Sun

Weather does something to me I’ve never fully explained. Under grey skies I slow down and turn inward, a low-grade melancholy that makes even getting dressed feel like a small victory. But when the sun is properly out—actually hammering down—something flips. I want noise and cold drinks and people and all of it at once.

David Bellemere understands that feeling. His series for Treats Magazine has Anthea Page on a tennis court, entirely naked, the sun doing what it does—bleaching everything a little, making skin look almost electric. It’s the most honest image of summer I’ve seen all year. Hard to argue with a single frame of it.
