She was too young and I was too young and she always showed up in Superstars with white ankle socks, every time we met at someone’s place or behind the abandoned house with the smashed windows and the door that creaked. She didn’t stay. The love for those shoes did.

London’s Anti-Agency shot the new adidas Originals Superstar SS15 campaign with a group of women including some recognizable faces, photographed by British artist Olivia Richardson. Clean, unsentimental work—exactly right for a shoe that doesn’t need sentiment to make its case.

I keep thinking about Chrissy when I look at the images. What she’s doing now. Whether she still wears them.
