At some point every summer, someone at the pool decides to share their opinions about you—your tattoos, your music, the general fact of your existence. Canadian label Raised by Wolves has a solution, and it goes on your feet.

Their Fuck Off slides take the basic pool-slide template and stamp a clear message across the strap. The effect depends entirely on whether the guy giving you side-eyes can read, but that’s his problem. They come in a sensible black, run around thirty euros, and they look exactly as good as a sandal that says FUCK OFF should look—which is very good.

There’s something satisfying about a piece of clothing that handles all the social labor for you. No confrontation required. No eye contact necessary. Just a single declarative statement in capital letters, pointing down at the pavement. Fuck. Off. Period.
