The Aristocrat of Joints

The day after the election, with the world having shifted overnight into something harder to recognize, the 420 Science Club posted what may be the most expensive joint ever rolled. The timing felt almost deliberate.

These are people who approach cannabis with the kind of taxonomic seriousness most people reserve for single-origin coffee or natural wine. Their construction was loaded with premium terpenes—the real stuff, the kind that makes the scraped-together corner-of-a-park experience feel like a fundamentally different substance, which it is. Getting high on garbage doesn’t take you anywhere worth visiting; it just makes you paranoid and weird and hungry for things you don’t have. Quality costs money. That’s either a useful lesson or a depressing one depending on where you’re standing.

Is it too late to note formally that drugs are bad? Almost certainly. Noted anyway.
